Cute puppy, you all look very happy.
Good luck with the tatoo, you might want to do a mermaid. That's a traditional tatoo that sailors used to get.
Was your mother in the WAVES program? Or was she in the Navy after WW2. She might have been on a ship that had it's own mascot that you could use as well.
